All customer orders ship from our Virginia warehouse within 2 business days of order processing. Most orders ship next business day.
Confirmation emails are sent to notify customers when their orders have shipped and tracking information is provided at that time, if applicable. If a customer fails to receive a shipping notification, it is most likely the result of the customer's spam filtering software through their email service provider. Please check your spam folder(s) for our shipping confirmation.

We offer the following ground services to our customers. Delivery times and restrictions are located in parentheses. Please remember that orders ship from the East Coast. As your order ships farther West, your estimated delivery time will be at the longer end of range provided. For example, if you shipping to California, you should expect 8 business days for shipping via Super Saver Ground.

Super Saver GroundSuper Saver Ground rates are based on the merchandise total of your order. Super Saver Ground is only available to the 48 LOWER US States and the District of Columbia. Customers may also ship to a PO Box with Super Saver Ground shipping.
Alaska, Hawaii, military addresses, and US Territories & Possessions are not eligible for Super Saver Ground shipping (see Priority mail below).
Super Saver Ground shipping is via FedEx SmartPost or USPS Parcel Service and packages are delivered within 3 to 8 business days from the date of shipping. Final delivery for FedEx SmartPost is made by the USPS. FedEx SmartPost and USPS Parcel Service orders are delivered Monday through Saturday. All orders include a tracking number.
Super Saver Ground shipping MAY be upgraded to a faster shipping method. This determination is solely up to us and is typically dependent on the size, weight, and destination zip code of the package.

Priority MailPriority Mail is offered to
ALL domestic customers. Customers shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, military addresses (APO/FPO), or US Territories & Possessions
MUST select Priority Mail during checkout.
Priority mail shipping rates are based on the size, weight, and destination zip code of the package. Therefore, shipping rates are calculated once items have been placed into the shopping cart. On the "View Cart" page, there is an "Estimate Shipping Charges" link. By clicking on this link, customers will be able to view estimated shipping charges before having to checkout and enter any personal information.
Priority mail includes a tracking number is delivered by the US Postal Service within 2 to 3 business days from the date of shipping. Deliveries are made Monday through Saturday.
**DISCLAIMER** There are limitations on the functionality of our shopping cart and its ability to calculate PRIORITY shipping rates. Large, oversized, or excessively heavy packages may trigger an incorrect shipping charge because of the dimensional weight of the package.
If the actual shipping charge exceeds the charge shown the customer during checkout by more than 15%, we reserve the right to cancel the order and/or contact the customer with the corrected shipping charges. The customer can elect to approve the additional shipping charges or request to have their order canceled.
First Class MailSome orders will qualify for first class shipping which is a flat rate. If your order qualifies, you will see it as a shipping option during checkout. First class mail includes a tracking number and is delivered by the US Postal Service within 2 to 3 business days from the date of shipping. Deliveries occur Monday through Saturday.
Media Mail - (BOOK ORDERS ONLY)
Media Mail shipping can only be used for shipping books. Any order that contains other items (such as Thomas trains, puzzles, toys, etc.) in addition to books is NOT eligible for Media mail. Any order that incorrectly selects Media mail will be canceled.
Media mail includes a tracking number and is available to ALL 50 States. Delivery averages between 6 to 14 business days from the date of shipping; however, some shipments have take longer. This is outside of our control. Please do not use this shipping option if your books are needed in a short period of time. We offer Media mail merely as a courtesy to our customers.

OUR SHOPPING CART IS NOT CURRENTLY SET UP TO AUTOMATICALLY CALCULATE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING RATES.
Prohibited Countries and Countries we have shipped to in the past:
At this time, we are NOT shipping to Italy due to import restrictions. Please inquire regarding other countries. We have shipped to the following countries in the past: Canada, Australia, Great Britain, Finland, Netherlands, Japan, Germany, Brazil, Switzerland, Poland, and Portugal.
International customers MUST contact us for shipping charges. Please email us your desired items with country destination. We will email your shipping options and a link to our international checkout page where you will be able to checkout and pay for your items using a credit card or Paypal. Please read below for some additional information on how we determine international rates.
Our current method of international shipping is through the US Postal Service (USPS). We offer Priority, and Express Mail. First Class International is available to CERTAIN DESTINATIONS for CERTAIN packages. First Class International shipping requires mandatory insurance. Certain destinations will require mandatory insurance regardless of the method of shipping used.
For orders of only 1 item, a processing fee of $1.00 USD is added to the order. Orders of 2 or more items, do not incur processing fees and shipping charges are estimated to be as close to actual charge as possible.
INSURANCE:
Insurance can be added to MOST destinations and is optional for any order totaling LESS than $50 USD in merchandise. The insurance rate for orders under $50 is $1.00 USD for shipments to CANADA and $1.65 USD for shipments to all other international destinations.
Any order exceeding $50 USD in merchandise will require MANDATORY INSURANCE. Insurance rates are based on the merchandise total and start at $1.00 USD for shipments to CANADA and $1.65 USD for shipment to ALL OTHER INTERNATIONAL DESTINATIONS. Insurance rates increase for merchandise totals over $100 USD and then again for merchandise totals over $200 USD.
***PLEASE NOTE:*** Any duties or taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer. International customers will need to contact their local import office or postal office for information on duties/taxes. If duties and/or taxes are assessed, they will be in addition to the shipping charges paid. We DO NOT mark international packages as "gifts" and international orders are NOT eligible for gift receipts.
